This labour day long weekend relax on picnic rugs at Castelli Estate lawn and enjoy award-winning  wines produced on site as the sun disappears into the horizon and the audience is captivated by Jebediah, British India, Gyroscope, Body Jar and Dallas Crane.

The tickets are selling fast through Ticketmaster, Denmark Visitor Centre and at Castelli Estate-Denmark, so make sure to get yours quickly.

Here is a bit of information on the acts:

Jebediah are the ultimate crowd pleaser. Their dedication, energy and passion is their secret to their longevity of nearly 23 years. Anyone who enjoys a bit of alternative rock will love Jebediah’s performance! This multiple WAMi, ARIA and APRA Awards nominee consists of Chris Daymond on lead guitar, Kevin Mitchell on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Vanessa Thornton on bass guitar and Brett Mitchell on the drums. After the band’s hiatus in 2005, Jebediah reconvened in 2010 and released their fifth studio album which charted in the ARIA’s top ten! Jebediah are a band not to be missed!

British India is an Indie Rock band that must be seen live. Their high energy melodic danceable rhythms is a signature well recognised in the music industry. The band comprises of lead vocalist and guitarist Declan Melia, guitarist Jack Tosi, bassist Will Drummond and drummer Matt O’Gorma and together they have released six studio albums. With over 15 years together,  British India are recognised as one of Australia’s most popular and hard working bands. Some of their success includes multiple Top 5 ARIA albums Chart and at least 8 songs in Triple J’s Hottest 100.

Gyroscope will not disappoint! Some of their albums have debut on the ARIA charts and a number of their singles have also been in Triple J’s Top 100.  The members of this ARIA Music Awards nominee and multiple WAMi Award winner are Daniel Sanders as lead vocalist and on guitar, Zoran Trivic on guitar and backing vocals, Brad Campbell on bass guitar and backing vocals and Simmy Dreja on drums. With many awards and nominations under their belt, Gyroscope are sure to be a popular hit on the night!

Bodyjar is a respected punk rock band that deliver a fast paced, high energy show leaving you with a love for their music! On the night you will see Cameron Baines on vocals and guitar; Tom Read on vocals and guitar; Grant Relf on vocals and bass guitar; and Shane Wakker on drums. Some of their fans include The Foo Fighters, Yellow Card, Good Charlotte and Blink 182 with whom the band have toured at least 4 times.

Dallas Crane will bring Alternative Rock to the stage. They won The Best Live Band winner at the Australian Live Music Awards and are a multi ARIA award nominated band.  Featuring Chris Brodie on bass guitar, Dave Larkin on vocals and guitar, Steve Pinkerton on drums and Pete Satchell on guitar and vocals this critically acclaimed band’s highest charting single “Sit on my Knee” (a duet with Jimmy Barnes) reached no. 14 in 2005.

Join us for a memorable day of award-winning wine, craft beer, local food, live music and talented chefs! Held at Eyre Park, a picturesque landscape in the heart of Albany, the festival will feature 40+ brands from across the Great Southern.

You can sip Castelli Estate Wines, taste and savour 19+ Great Southern wineries and 100+ wines, then buy a glass of your favourite to match with excellent food by the local foodies while enjoying live music from local artists. Then top up your cellar by supporting the locals and buying a bottle or two!

All the favourites are back for 2020 including the Wine Theatre with three wine appreciation classes with Mike Bennie and the Cooking Stage with our Guest Chef, Derek Lau and local talent taking centre stage sharing their cooking tips and inspiration.

Celebrating contemporary music, with Great Southern wine, beer and delicious food while overlooking the picturesque lake at Eyre Park in the heart of Albany.

Sit around a table with friends or pull up a rug and enjoy local, Perth and National acts across two stages.

As the sun sets, enjoy the reggae beats of Bobby Alu, a Byron Bay singer, ukulele strummer and drummer, for a chilled-out afternoon.

Then bringing the raw early 80’s funk is Sex on Toast, a Melbourne group with their hard-edged new jack swing, blazing improvisation and heartfelt blue-eyed soul.

During the afternoon listen to The Little Lord Street Band, a Perth based alternative folk country rock group as well as a fantastic local line-up which includes Great Southern artists including The Kris Nelson Band, Los Car Keys and Diggin the Jig across two stages.
