Aromatic nose with vibrant nashi pear, citrus and undertones of white stone fruit and quince, ginger and blossom. The palate is fresh & light and the finish is crisp and dry.
This Pinot Gris is a versatile food wine that pairs well with everything from sushi to light pasta, and can also be enjoyed as an aperitif.

The 2021 season posed some challenges with rain in early February followed by unseasonably cool temperatures delaying the start of the white harvest, although slowing everything down and allowing the flavour to develop was the benefit in the end.
The rain and cooler temperatures gave reds a much-needed drink, allowed colour to intensify and the following warmer finish allowed them to maximise flavour expression.
In the end, vintage 2021 started late, finished early and across the board quality very, very good!
Fruit was machine harvested in the early morning free of any sulphites.
Destemmed, pressed and settled without the use of sulphites or animal products of any kind, once clarified the juice was allowed to warm and start fermentation using wild yeast with a controlled 15’C fermentation in stainless steel to capture the delicate fruit expression from the vineyard.
The resulting wine had a minimal sulphite addition prior to filtration and bottling as a fresh young wine
