Castelli Sunday Sessions a new way to celebrate the Weekend
People say Sunday is a day to relax and unwind. What better way to rest to sipping wine in the sunshine with friends? Finish your weekend on a high note West Aussies’ style.
Castelli Estate is kick-starting the Sunday session season with acoustic gigs under the In Cucina At Castelli Estate pergola.
The food will be flowing, the wines will be chilled so you can enjoy this very special corner of the world with local artists. Bookings are extremely recommended as tables tend to sell out on weekends.
Adam Grok – SUN 13th DEC – from 2PM
Adam Grok is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, percussionist, and lover of life, bringing a mix of ambient blues and smooth roots to your table for digesting. Audiences can expect soothing tones and rhythmic resonance that will connect and uplift.
In early 2016 Adam made Denmark, Western Australia his home base and has performed at a mix of local venues and he kicks start the Castelli Estate music afternoons this December.
Coby Grant – SUN 20th DEC – from 2PM
Coby Grant is a professional singer-songwriter. Her emotional songs take the listeners on a journey into her world of love, travel and life lessons. At the age of 19, Coby left Perth to follow her dream and has had a very successful career abroad as both a writer and a performing artist, releasing four full albums and multiple singles.
Coby has been signed to publishing labels Sony ATV in Europe and GAGA in Australia. Her songs have featured on several TV Shows, Commercials and Films all over the world. Coby was a contestant on The Voice of Germany, with four million people tuning in to the Blind Auditions. After turning all four judges’ chairs, she went on to make it to the semi-finals. The exposure from the show resulted in two successful headline tours through Germany. Due to the Global pandemic, she made the sudden decision to fly directly home to Perth and have been gracing us with amazing performances.
Katie White- SUN 17th JAN – From 2 PM
Originally from Denmark, in WA, singer, songwriter, guitarist and bass player, Katie J White has taken her music as far as London and she has played literally hundreds of venues across Australia from Broome WA to the Sunshine Coast QLD. Her career began at age 14 when she supported The Waifs in front of thousands of people. Katie took out the 2016 West Australian Music Industry (WAMI) Song of The Year Award for the Blues and Roots category with her song ‘River’. ‘Warrior’, another track of her EP, was also nominated that year, following a double nomination in 2015 with her song ‘Gypsy’. This makes three out of five tracks on her third EP WAMI nominated. We welcome her at Castelli Estate for an extraordinary afternoon of live music, fine wines, and great food!
